Server needs some tweaking

I understand that the class are under heavy tweaking ATM but I think we should ask the community for some ideas. Also if I may suggest I have an idea for the whole mining thing:
Players will have to start with a wooden pickaxe. They will need to use it long enough to where they will then level up their pick axe skill and they can then use the stone pickaxe and so on all way up to diamond. Every class will be able to use diamonds, The bonus that the dwarfs will receive is that they start off on the stone pickaxe instead of the wooden pickaxe. If we wanted to we could also do the same for axes and shovels and swords. Swords would be a little more skeptical. You would unlock the next higher tiered should just like a pickaxe but you could only use the ones specified by your class, instead of being able to go all the way up to diamond or iron.
I also if I may suggest I think that some of the exp rewards should be changed a little bit:
Gold: Should give 8 exp instead of 6
Obsidian: Should give 30-45 exp instead of 15
Sand: if gravels going to give 2 exp then sand should give 2 exp instead of 1
Crops (planted by you): Should maybe give you exp, that way you could earn exp through farming.
Redstone: Should give 14 exp instead of 10
Those are all just my suggestions to help balance things a little bit.
Thats all I have for now post any comments on good ideas for races/classes/mining/ect.

With the classes and the leveling i think blocking off pickaxes for other levels is too much i mean i think pick upgrades would be better but having to use a wooden pick at first and not being able to mine the essentials u will die off extremely qwik but then again thats just my opinion

You would only need to use up about 128 uses (two wooden pickaxes) and then you would move on to stone pickaxe. You could get that done in like 22 minutes and if you tried hard enough you could get that done in 10 minutes. Then the stone pickaxe would use up 4 stone pickaxes and you would then move on to the iron pickaxe. After using up 9 iron pickaxes you would finally be able to use the diamond pickaxe. I think it could work

This is not possible with the current class-system I am using. You are talking about, what seems to be, a plugin called LevelCraft. I used it on past servers, but I dislike it. Almost every server uses LevelCraft or mcMMO. I want Dungeon Craft to be unique. (mcMMO is pretty good ^.^)

gotta love when new members are already complaining.I am mostly kidding I do partly agree with you though I like the exp thing but there no way we should do the upgrades it would completely cause mass anger.I do agree that all classes need a diamond pickaxe because obsidian is impossible with out it but the whole upgrade thing could end up turning more people away then attracting new members which we desperately need.
